01The challenge

Since 2015, Punto de Fuga has collaborated with a renowned international knowledge center on road safety, taking part in an initiative that studies the attitudes, behaviors and perceptions of road users in different countries.

The challenge was to build a view that would make it possible not only to understand the reality of each market, but also to compare it internationally and observe its evolution over time.

02From one country to a global picture

Since 2015 we have taken part in several editions of the international survey on road safety attitudes,

conducting studies in 44 countries across Europe, the Americas, Africa, Asia and Oceania.

This has made it possible to gather information from very different cultural and social contexts and build a common knowledge base to analyze issues related to:

01Attitudes toward road safety.
02Behaviors of road users.
03Risk perception.
04Evolution of the main road safety indicators.

The international dimension of the project puts each result in context: understanding which behaviors are shared across countries and which respond to the specific realities of each market.

03What have we achieved?

The project has generated a international comparative

framework to understand how road users think and act in different cultural contexts.

With a cumulative perspective since 2015, the research makes it possible to monitor the evolution of road safety indicators, detect emerging risks and provide knowledge to guide prevention, communication and public policy actions.
